160 bed acute care community hospital located sixty miles from Pittsburgh is seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join an existing, hospital employed pulmonologist. The practice includes all areas of critical care procedures, PFT lab, sleep, and outpatient office on campus. There is an ICU Directorship available. Hospital employment offered for start-up. The hospital has been providing service to this community for 96 years. They offer advanced imaging with PET/CT, MRI, 64 slice CT, nuclear medicine, cath/angio lab and PACS. They have a 10 bed ICU. Their ER has 46,000 visits per year and their OB unit has 700 deliveries annually. There is an advanced neurodiagnostic lab, an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, a Total joint replacement program, a sleep disorders program and much more. The facility has been named by Fortune magazine as the Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania and has also been named numerous times in other publications.
The community is located in southwestern Pennsylvania and has one of the largest State owned universities. It is well known for its quality school system which has been nationally recognized. The university brings a variety of cultural events and has a variety of outdoor sports for everyone.
